Where known, rub test results are shown.  A rub test of <15,000 indicates suitability for light upholstery only (occasional chairs, bedroom furniture).  A rub test of >15,000 indicates suitability for heavier use such as sofas and armchairs.  Where no rub test is specified please call the Enquiry Line for advice.

We strongly advise that professional advice is taken when cleaning.  Dry cleaning is recommended for all our curtain and upholstery fabrics unless specified otherwise.  We stock a few machine washable fabrics and these will be indicated as such on the labelling.
